The high stool has found its way into many Danish homes – not least in open-plan kitchens, which often feature a high counter or kitchen island. A natural fixture in our interiors, the counter stool is now being introduced in a version harking back to the golden age of Danish design. The J165C bar stool was designed by Jørgen Bækmark and was launched to mark his 90th birthday. Featuring a round paper cord seat, it is available with a black-lacquered oak or natural oak frame. A classic Jørgen Bækmark design with a highly contemporary functionality.
