Poul M. Volther's J48 dining chair from 1951 is recognizable as a classic of Danish furniture design's golden age - and yet completely different from many contemporary chairs of its time. The three horizontal backrests create unique seating comfort and design. It is an elegant expression, recognizable as a predecessor to Poul M. Volther's most famous furniture: The Armchair Corona.
